One of the many stories of your partnership making a difference. Zulfiia and her nine-year-old daughter's journey to find refuge from the war ended in a car accident only 3 miles from our Center - "Tina's House." Fortunately, no one was hurt, but the car was undrivable. They were stranded in a foreign country and did not speak the language. After the accident, the Romanian Police called us to ask if we could help with the translation of the accident report and provide them accommodations for a few days. In God's perfect timing, another family had arrived the day before. Their son Alex spoke English, Russian, and Romanian and translated for Zulffia and the police.
Zulfia and daughter Mariia stayed with us for 6 weeks while the car was being repaired. They relaxed, regrouped, and visited with the other Ukrainian families. Meanwhile, they came to church, tried singing the songs, and followed along with the sermon outlined in Russian. They also gladly received a Russian Bible, children's bible story book, and Gospel tracts. Please pray the Word of God will take root in their hearts and bear the fruit of salvation.
