Please keep Olena and her husband, Karill, in your prayers. They are Ukrainian; she and her baby daughter have been with us for a year. Her husband deserted the army six months ago after being injured, had surgery, was hospitalized for a month, and then returned to the front lines, witnessing people blown to pieces.

He has been hiding but recently talked to authorities about turning himself in. They said he would not be arrested but would have to serve on the frontlines in Bakmut.(One of the cities under heavy attack). They both are terrified! She has no family besides him. Olena comes to our church, and she’ll read the scripture out loud from her Russian Bible, but as far as we can understand she nor her husband have excepted Christ.
