Meet Roxana and Nicolas. They have been with us for a week now. From a very abusive home (Punching, kicking, pulling hair and spitting) not just from her boyfriend, but from his family too. His family showed up yesterday to try and take her back to their house. They were very loud and aggressive and it came to us threatening to call the police if they didn’t leave the property. She was shaken up afterwards, but said how thankful she is that we were there to protect her.

Meet Lenuta with her boys Vladut and Peter. They have been with us for 2 1/2 weeks and are also from an abusive husband (not legally married) He would kick, push, pull her hair and beat her. All of this in front of her children. She had to plan an escape and traveled all day to come to our Center for protection.

Meet Daniela and Lucas. They now have been with us for a month and doing well. She is still in contact with her legal husband who is trying to persuade her to return to him even though he will not take responsibility for the physical abuse he inflicted. (Beating and Chocking)
